Frequently Asked Questions

Is Instamacro Safe?

Yes. Instamacro is an autobot developed to automate liking, following and unfollowing activities on Instagram. We have started our service on January 20th 2013 and have defined speeds such that your automated activity does not get noticed. So far, none of our users have had any issues with the service nor did they experience any kind of difficulty in accessing and using their Instagram accounts.

Instamacro logs into your Instagram account to automatically like the new photos of other users it finds relevant based on your tags. That way, they can check your likes and like your images back and even follow you.

How Does Automatic Liking Work?

So do you need my Instagram credentials?

Yes, to initiate the auto liking and following activity on your Instagram account, we would require your Instagram username and password. However, we do so only with your permission. We will never use your credentials without your permission.

Sometimes, when Instagram's limit for the number of users exceeds, it prevents you from logging into our service. We suggest you wait for a couple of minutes or more and try logging in again.

I am unable to login Why?

Why have my automatic activities stopped?

If you have been inactive for a long time or if you have changed your password, the scripts stop automatically. We recommend you re-login to get the scripts running again.

Yes. By default, Instamacro uses the most popular hash tags to like and follow images of other users. But if you wish, you can set specific hash tags to like photos or to follow people on the social networking site. If you want to like or follow photos of a specific theme or nature, you can use your own specific hash tags.

Can I use my own hash tags?

My activities have become slow. What is wrong?

Instamacro has a speed algorithm set to manage the speed of the activities so that they are evenly distributed through the day, without exceeding the daily Instagram limits. Sometimes, the speed algorithm slows down the activities to prevent exceeding of these daily limits set by Instagram..
